Saint Andrew’s School student Alex Dartnell has reached a major milestone by securing the #1 ranking in the Boys' U19 division of U.S. Squash. As a member of the 2024 National Championship Saint Andrew's Squash Team, Alex’s success shines a spotlight on both his individual talent and the strength of the school's squash program.
The U.S. Squash junior rankings are based on results earned in accredited points-based tournaments, including Junior Championship Tour (JCT), Gold, Silver, and Bronze-level competitions. Alex’s ascent to the top reflects his hard work and consistent performance across these prestigious events.
U.S. Squash, the governing body for the sport in the United States, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1904. Headquartered in Philadelphia, U.S. Squash oversees the sport nationally, serving as a member of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, the Pan American Squash Federation, and the World Squash Federation.
Alex’s accomplishment is not just a personal victory—it’s also a testament to the training, support, and competition provided by Saint Andrew’s. The school’s squash team, which captured the national title in February of 2024, has a tradition of excellence, and Alex’s achievement adds to their legacy of success. His commitment to both his team and his individual game makes him a player to watch as he continues to make waves in the U.S. squash community.
